Forensic psychologist Dr. Kris Mohandie has publicly raised doubts about the authenticity of the ransom notes connected to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, pointing to several unusual features in the messages.
Among the details he highlighted are shifting pronouns, unusual wording and the fact that one of the messages was sent to a media organization rather than directly to the Guthrie family. Mohandie has suggested that these characteristics could be consistent with a fabricated ransom scenario rather than a carefully planned kidnapping.
