The Nolan Wells investigation is entering another closely watched phase, with several major questions still unresolved more than six weeks after the 18-year-old was found ᴅᴇᴀᴅ near Horn Island.

One of the biggest developments involves Nolan’s cellphone. His family and the district attorney’s office have agreed to a joint forensic examination of the device, which could potentially help reconstruct his communications and movements before his disappearance.
