A family outing ended in tragedy after a late-night boat trip in Michigan turned into a devastating accident involving Stephen Schneider, 64, and his two grandchildren, Mya Bella Golabek, 9, and Sigmund, 7.
According to authorities, Schneider was allegedly operating the boat while impaired when it crashed, sending the two children into the water. Schneider and his wife, Laurie, reportedly pulled the children back onto the boat and attempted to help them, but both children were unresponsive.
