A new claim circulating online has pulled Carlisha Briscoe, Nolan Wells’ sister, into renewed speculation surrounding the investigation. However, current credible reporting identifies Carlisha as a member of Nolan’s family, while I could not find reliable confirmation that she has been arrested or that authorities have seized her vehicle.

The arrest claim appears to be circulating primarily through social-media posts, rather than established law-enforcement or mainstream news reporting. One recent Facebook post, for example, makes the arrest allegation, but that alone is not sufficient evidence that an arrest occurred.
