Thousands of people came together in prayer for 9-year-old Rylie Addison McCarron as she faced an aggressive and rare form of cancer with remarkable strength.

In June 2026, after a fall at her home in the Wichita, Kansas area, Rylie was taken to the hospital. What began as an unexpected medical emergency soon led doctors to discover a large mᴀss on her lung.

Further testing revealed that Rylie had stage 4 T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma, a rare and fast-growing type of blood cancer. She was transferred to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, where she received specialized medical care and underwent intensive treatment.
